COVID-19 has caused everyone to adjust to new circumstances but has created even greater challenges for students of all ages.
Whether they’re transitioning to learning at home or have moved home from college, there are many adjustments for students to make to successfully maintain their well-being, continue their education, and find balance during this public health crisis.
Caitlin M. Nevins, PhD, director of psychological services for McLean’s College Mental Health Program, discusses considerations for students and families during this time, the impact of student identities, strategies to ease student transitions into at-home education, and ways to maintain their mental health and well-being.
