Tatiana Mais, MSN, APRN, PMHNP
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
I’m Tatiana Mais, a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of healthcare experience in emergency medicine, primary care, and psychiatry. My approach to mental health care is compassionate, collaborative, and holistic, recognizing the connection between physical health, emotional well-being, and everyday life.

My journey into psychiatry was inspired by my years in primary care, where I witnessed firsthand the challenges patients faced in accessing timely mental health services and the stigma surrounding mental health, particularly within the Hispanic community. These experiences strengthened my commitment to breaking down barriers and providing compassionate, culturally sensitive, and individualized psychiatric care.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, and other psychiatric concerns. I believe treatment should be a partnership, combining evidence-based care with each patient’s individual needs, goals, and preferences.
As a bilingual provider fluent in English and Spanish, my goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to take an active role in their mental health and overall well-being.
